George and I have began the journey of sponsorship twelve years ago. I have always enjoyed telling others about this journey and I've wanted to put this story into written text so beginning this blog is one way to do this. This blog also provides me with the opportunity to tell others about Compassion International (CI). CI is who we sponsor our child through. For those of you who do not know us, our child's name is Israel. We began sponsoring Israel when he was 4. He is now 17 and what an amazing journey it has been and will continue to be.
